Tie Rod Removal Tool 28-35mm
The tie rod tool solves the situation where the inner tie rod joint cannot be reached with a standard open-ended spanner because it is recessed in the steering rack boot. The tool is shaped like a long sleeve that slides over the rod and grips it by the flats intended for tightening.
The range from 28 to 35 mm covers the inner tie rod sizes of most passenger cars and vans. The rear of the tool is designed to take a breaker bar or ratchet, so you have enough torque to loosen a seized joint without the risk of damaging the boot or the steering rack.
