Cross trivet for a gas cooker
The cross trivet is placed directly on the burner of a gas cooker and creates a stable support for vessels with a small or rounded bottom. A coffee pot, a small saucepan or a cezve therefore does not fall through between the ribs of the grate and stands firmly.
At the same time it slightly moves the bottom of the vessel away from the flame, so the heat is distributed more evenly. It is a simple and inexpensive helper which extends the usability of cookware that you would otherwise not use on a gas cooker.
