Zirconium flap disc 125mm P40 for welds and edges
The flap disc with zirconium abrasive and a grit of P40 is intended for the intensive grinding of metal. The coarse grain removes material quickly, therefore it is suitable for levelling welds, where the weld bead has to be taken down to the level of the surrounding sheet metal.
Zirconium is among the most durable abrasive materials and, in combination with the arrangement of the flaps, which wear out evenly, it gives the disc a long service life. The diameter of 125 mm and the mounting hole of 22.2 mm fit most common angle grinders. The disc manages structural steel, stainless steel and also hard welds and is used for chamfering edges, removing rust and scale and also for preparing the surface before painting or welding.
