Demijohn in a Basket 5l with a Wide Neck
The glass demijohn with a capacity of 5 litres placed in a sturdy protective basket is a classic aid for fermenting and storing homemade wine, must, beer or liqueurs. The wide neck makes filling with ingredients as well as the subsequent washing of the interior after fermentation considerably easier. The glass is safe for health, does not take on odours and lets you follow the course of the fermentation. The plastic basket protects the glass against knocks and at the same time serves as a comfortable grip when carrying it.
The demijohn suits home winemakers as well as smaller batches of infusions and fruit wines. A fermentation airlock can be fitted into the neck, so the vessel serves throughout the whole fermentation process as well as during the subsequent storage. Once emptied, all the demijohn needs is to be rinsed with warm water and left to dry.
