Glass Demijohn 54l in a Plastic Basket
The glass demijohn with a capacity of 54 litres is a classic vessel for fermenting and storing larger quantities of wine, must, mead or fruit mash. The body is made of thick glass, which does not take on odours or tastes and lets you keep an eye on the condition and the clarity of the contents. The balloon is placed in a sturdy basket, which protects it against knocks, ensures that it stands stably and makes carrying easier. The wide neck allows convenient filling as well as cleaning of the interior.
You will appreciate the demijohn in the home production of wine and spirits, for fermenting fruit and for storing larger volumes of drinks in the cellar. The neck is closed with a rubber stopper together with a fermentation airlock, which are not part of the package. The glass is washed with warm water and, when handled carefully, it will last for decades.
