Glass Demijohn 5l in a Protective Plastic Basket
The glass demijohn with a capacity of 5 litres is intended for smaller batches of homemade wine, liqueurs and fruit infusions. Thanks to its low weight and compact dimensions it is very comfortable to work with and does not take up much space in the pantry. The glass does not take on odours or tastes and lets you follow how the contents are developing. The protective plastic basket encloses the vessel and protects it against knocks.
You will appreciate the smaller capacity when experimenting with new recipes, when you do not want to risk a large batch. The demijohn serves for fermenting as well as for maturing and storing the finished drink. After use all it needs is to be washed with warm water and left to dry upside down.
