Pipe insulating pad for infrared heater G80430 and G80431
The insulating pad is a heat-resistant part of the Geko G80430 and G80431 infrared diesel heaters. It separates the red-hot radiant pipes from the metal structure of the body, prevents heat transfer to places where it has no business being, and at the same time damps the vibration of the pipes during operation.
The pad is stressed by high temperature every time the heater heats up and cools down, which is why over time it becomes brittle, crumbles and loses its insulating ability. It then needs to be replaced, otherwise there is a risk of the surrounding parts overheating and of a drop in radiant efficiency. The part measures approximately 225 x 225 mm and is fitted in the original place without modification.
