Trailer Socket 7PIN 24V, Type N
The seven-pin type N trailer socket belongs in trucks, tractor units and other machinery with a 24V electrical system. It carries lighting signals between the towing vehicle and the trailer, so it directly determines whether the brake, side and indicator lights will work on the trailer.
The socket has seven working contacts in a female design and an integrated protective cover that protects the contacts against water, mud and road salt. The design is meant for permanent screw mounting onto the bodywork or a beam, and the black housing tolerates the environment under the vehicle well.
