Dowel Jig 6, 8 and 10mm
The jig is used for accurately drilling holes for wooden dowels, which are used to join shelves, cabinet carcasses and furniture frames. The guide bushings hold the drill bit perpendicular and precisely on axis, so both mating holes align and the joint fits flush without gaps after gluing.
The three most common dowel diameters are supported, namely 6, 8 and 10 mm, which covers practically all everyday joinery work from thin side panels to solid boards. The jig is clamped to the workpiece and you can do the job even without experience in precise freehand drilling.
