Repair plates for furniture hinges rescue the door of a cabinet whose hinge has been torn out – instead of replacing the whole side panel you screw on a plate, which creates new fixing points next to the torn-out holes. With kitchen cabinets that is the difference between a ten-minute repair and new furniture.
The set contains four plates, so you can repair two to four hinges, and along with them twenty-four mounting screws with a length of 16 mm. Twenty holes on the plate cover the layout of most common hinges and the plates are usable on left-hand as well as right-hand ones. Stainless steel with a thickness of 1 mm is strong and at the same time does not increase the profile so much that the door would not close flush.
