The hat can be worn in two ways: with loose edges like a classic bucket hat or with the sides fastened up in the boonie style – and it is precisely that which makes one piece an accessory for urban as well as outdoor clothing.
Nylon is light, breathable and does not lose its shape even after being crumpled in a backpack, which a cotton hat cannot manage. Two side ventilation openings let the scalp breathe on hot days.
