TT Tool Tether KNIPEX
The tool tether reliably protects tools against falling when working at height, on construction sites, during building maintenance or during assembly work at trade fairs. It prevents tool loss and reduces the risk of injury to persons and damage to property. Under load the elastic textile tether stretches to approximately 1.5 m, so it provides a sufficient working radius.
At one end it has a loop of stitched flat webbing, at the other a sewn-in cord with a stopper. You can attach it to your wrist, belt or climbing gear, and you can connect it to pliers with a tether eyelet even without a carabiner. The maximum tool weight is 1.5 kg, and the tether stretches when arresting a fall, so make sure there is free space below the work area. The tether is not personal protective equipment.
