Impact Socket Tvardy RIBE 1/2" M6 CR-MO
The Tvardy impact socket with an M6 RIBE profile is intended for bolts with a multi-spline fluted profile, such as those used mainly in the engines and gearboxes of European vehicles. An ordinary hexagonal socket would slip on such a bolt and damage the head - the precisely shaped RIBE profile, by contrast, transfers torque around the entire circumference.
The material is chrome-molybdenum steel CR-MO, which is a must for impact tools: it absorbs shocks, does not become brittle and keeps its hardness under repeated load. The anti-corrosion surface finish protects the socket against moisture and oils in a workshop environment. The retaining ring and pin hole allow safe securing on the wrench, so the socket does not stay hanging on the bolt.
