VDE Socket 3/8" 18mm KNIPEX
The insulated socket with a 3/8" square drive and a size of 18 mm is designed for metric screws and nuts with a hexagon head. Thanks to its VDE-tested insulation, it is suitable for assembly and maintenance on live electrical equipment up to 1000 V. It is a good addition to an electrician's kit together with an insulated ratchet and extensions with a 3/8" square drive.
The base tool is chrome-plated and therefore corrosion-resistant. The insulation protects the user against electric shock, and the socket complies with DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900. The maximum outer diameter on the screw side is 31.0 mm, which must be taken into account when working in confined spaces.
