The Tvardy 35/45 mm cylinder lock insert is a reliable replacement for both entrance and interior doors. It is most often replaced when moving house, after losing keys or when the old mechanism starts to stick — and since the insert is designed for 50 000 cycles, you will not need another replacement any time soon.
The body of the insert is made of aluminium and the barrel mechanism itself of brass, so the key turns smoothly and the mechanism keeps its precision even after years of daily use. The brushed nickel surface is more resistant to minor scratches and matches both modern and classic door hardware. The package contains three keys and a fixing screw, so you can replace the insert right after unpacking.
