Tvardy Lock Insert with Knob 40/40Gmm, Brushed Nickel
The Tvardy lock insert with a knob is a cylinder insert that lets you lock and unlock the door from the inside with a single turn of the knob — without looking for the key in your pocket or handbag. That is why it suits the front door of a flat, an office, a utility room or a cellar, where you want a quick exit and at the same time certainty that nobody can get in from outside without a key.
The body of the insert is made of aluminium, so it is light yet dimensionally stable, and the barrel mechanism itself, made of brass, works smoothly even after years of daily use — the manufacturer states a lifespan of 50 000 cycles. The brushed nickel finish looks understated and matches ordinary door hardware. The size 40/40G mm corresponds to the European insert profile, so you can fit it into a standard mortise lock; the package contains three keys and a fixing screw.
