Broken bolt extractors 6pcs 3-14mm
The six-piece extractor set is designed for screwing out broken and sheared bolts whose remainder is left embedded in the hole. The wide range of sizes from 3 mm to 14 mm in diameter makes it a truly universal aid – in one package you get a tool for a small bolt on an accessory as well as for a thicker joint on a machine structure.
A hole is first drilled into the remainder of the bolt, then the extractor of the appropriate size is inserted into it, and as it turns against the tightening direction its profile bites into the material and screws the bolt out. This way you avoid drilling out the hole and cutting a new thread, which is a real time saver in any workshop or auto repair shop.
