Screw extractor sockets for damaged nuts 3/8"


The set of special sockets with a 3/8" drive is designed for removing nuts and bolts whose head is already rounded, worn or otherwise damaged, where a standard wrench simply slips. The internal profile of the socket is shaped to bite into the remaining head and grip it firmly, so the joint can be loosened even in cases that would otherwise seem hopeless.

The outer shape of the socket lets you fit it not only with a ratchet but also with an open-end or ring wrench, or a hex socket, which helps in confined spaces. Since this is precise and delicate work, these sockets should not be used with an impact wrench. The set also includes an ejector pin for removing the remainder of the bolt from the socket.
