Crimping pliers with five interchangeable dies handle practically the whole range of cable terminals you commonly encounter in electrical installations in vehicles and in the home. Instead of five separate pairs of pliers you have one tool, and you swap the die depending on whether you are crimping a ferrule, an insulated terminal or a ring terminal for a thicker conductor.
Dies A, B, C, D and F cover non-insulated and insulated terminals, ferrules, ring and fork terminals, and open and closed connectors. They are swapped without any additional tools, the crimping force can be fine-tuned by adjustment, and the precise mechanics ensure that the joint holds and does not cut through the conductor. The length of 220 mm gives good leverage, the anti-slip handles reduce hand fatigue, and the whole set is stored in a case, so the dies do not get lost.
