Multi-Purpose System Crimping Pliers with Interchangeable Dies 200mm KNIPEX
The 200 mm system crimping pliers are one tool for almost 1000 types of connectors and contacts. They can be used with all interchangeable crimping dies and locators of the 97 49 series, with dies for further applications available on request. The almost parallel crimping movement guarantees an optimum result and the forced lock according to IEC 60352 ensures consistently high crimping quality.
The crimping pressure is precisely set (calibrated) at the factory and can be fine-tuned. The lever transmission multiplies the force, making work less tiring, and the handles are ergonomically shaped. The body of the pliers is made of high-quality oil-hardened chrome vanadium electric steel with a burnished finish. The pliers are supplied in a plastic case without a crimping die, with a foam insert with space for 14 optional dies, a mounting tool (Allen key), screws and nuts. The 97 49 dies are not compatible with MultiCrimp 97 33 01/02/03.
