System Crimping Pliers for MC4® and MC4® Evo 2 Connectors KNIPEX
The system crimping pliers are designed for crimping contacts of MC4® and MC4® Evo 2 solar connectors. They are supplied with a pre-mounted crimping die for cross-sections of 2.5, 4 and 6 mm², so they are immediately ready for work in photovoltaic installation. The almost parallel crimping movement and the forced lock according to IEC 60352 guarantee consistently high crimping quality.
The crimping pressure is calibrated at the factory and can be fine-tuned, and the lever transmission multiplies the force for less tiring work. The body made of oil-hardened chrome vanadium electric steel is burnished and the handles are multi-component. The pliers can also be used with other dies and locators of the 97 49 series. Guiding the contacts during crimping is made easier by the optional holders 97 49 66 1 for MC4 and 97 49 66 1 EVO for MC4 Evo 2.
