Protective Rim Edge Guard 157mm
The protective guard is used when changing tyres to protect the edge of the rim against scratching and mechanical damage. It is fitted onto the edge of the rim at the place where the tyre lever or the arm of the tyre changer rests during work. It is intended primarily for alloy and varnished rims, whose surface is damaged most easily, but it serves equally well with steel rims.
It is made of flexible plastic that adapts to the shape of the rim and resists cracking even with repeated bending. The length of 157 mm ensures that the guard sits firmly against the rim and protects a sufficiently large area during the entire removal. Fitting it on and taking it off is a matter of a second and the guard can be used repeatedly. In shape it is compatible with most common tyre levers and tyre tools.
