Aluminium Rivet Nut Set M3 0,5–1,5mm, 50 pcs
Rivet nuts create a strong thread where you could not otherwise cut one — in thin sheet metal, an aluminium profile or a plastic enclosure. Instead of drilling and tapping a thread, you simply insert the nut with a rivet nut tool and get a full-fledged screw connection that can be taken apart repeatedly.
The nuts have a cylindrical body with a flat flange and a knurled surface, which increases hold in the hole and prevents spinning under torque. Aluminium is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, so the joint does not rust even in a damp environment. The M3 thread is precisely calibrated and the grip range of 0,5 to 1,5 mm covers common sheets and profiles. The set of 50 pieces is supplied in a practical ZIP bag.
