Aluminium Rivet Nut Set M4 0,5–2,0mm, 50pcs
Rivet nuts are the solution wherever you need to put a strong thread into thin sheet metal or a closed profile, but cannot reach it from behind to screw on an ordinary nut. Aluminium rivet nuts in size M4 create a permanent thread in material with a wall thickness of 0,5 to 2,0 mm — after that you simply screw in the bolt.
The cylindrical body with a flat flange sits flush in the hole, and the knurled surface prevents the nut from spinning in the sheet metal. Aluminium is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, so it is also suited to parts exposed to damp. They are useful in car repairs, in electrical switch cabinets, in furniture parts and in light steel structures. For installation you need a manual or pneumatic rivet nut tool.
