Japanese Saw 485mm 14TPI, SK5 Steel
A Japanese saw cuts on the pull stroke towards you, not on the push away from you — and that is precisely where its strength lies. The blade can be thin and flexible, the cut comes out narrow and precise, without torn fibres, so it is suited to tenons, dovetail joints, mouldings, frames and anywhere the result will not be sanded afterwards.
The fine 14 TPI teeth ensure a smooth cut surface and smooth running without jerking, and the carbon steel SK5 blade keeps its sharpness for a long time. The overall length of 485 mm gives a sufficiently long stroke even on wider workpieces, and the ergonomic plastic handle with a non-slip finish holds firmly even after longer work. It is intended for wood and wood-based materials.
