The semi-automatic trimmer head feeds out the line by simply tapping it on the ground during work, so you do not have to switch off the engine and pull it out by hand. Its precisely guided cut makes it ideal for trimming around low walls, steps and kerbs, where a metal blade would damage the surface as well as the machine itself.
The body is made of abrasion- and impact-resistant plastic, and new line can be wound on without dismantling the whole head. The right-hand M8 x 1.25 mounting thread ensures a firm fit on the shaft and vibration-free running, and the head is compatible with the FS38, FS40, FS45, FS50 and FSE71 models.
