Fuel Line with Tank Filter for Brush Cutter
The fuel line carries the mixture from the tank to the carburettor and has a suction filter at its end that traps dirt and small deposits from old petrol. It is precisely this filter that often causes the engine to run only on choke, bog down at full throttle or stall after a few minutes.
Over time the line hardens, cracks at the tank neck and starts drawing in air, which outwardly looks like a carburettor fault. Replacing the complete assembly including the filter is therefore a cheap and quick step during every major service of petrol garden machinery.
