Chain Tensioner for Chainsaw 43-58cc
The tensioner with adjusting screw moves the guide bar and keeps the chain at the correct tension, which determines both cutting precision and work safety. A loose chain jumps off the bar and excessively wears the guide groove, while an overtightened chain makes the engine heat up and the chain wear out faster.
The replacement tensioner is designed for petrol chainsaws with a cylinder displacement of approximately 43 to 58 cubic centimetres, i.e. for the popular models designated 45, 4500, 52, 5200, 58 and 5800. It is replaced after removing the side clutch cover and requires no special tools.
