Clutch for Chainsaw 5200
The centrifugal clutch connects the engine to the chain only once a certain speed is exceeded, so the chain stands still at idle and the saw can be held safely even with the engine running. Worn clutch shoes show up as slipping during cutting, a burning smell and the chain only starting to move at full throttle.
The replacement clutch is designed for chainsaws of the 5200 model series and is fitted after removing the side cover and the chain. When replacing it, it is worth checking the condition of the springs and the clutch drum, as damaged parts would quickly destroy the new clutch.
