Exhaust Silencer for GX Combustion Engine
The exhaust silencer reduces engine noise and directs exhaust gases away from the operator, but over time it burns through, corrodes or becomes clogged with carbon. This shows as louder running, loss of power and poorer cooling around the exhaust port, which is why replacing the silencer is a normal part of maintenance.
The replacement silencer is designed for GX series combustion engines, which power trash pumps, plate compactors, mixers, generators and garden machinery. It is mounted with two bolts and an exhaust gasket and does not require removal of the engine. Before buying, compare the shape and hole spacing with the original part.
