Stator for mitre saw 2000W 255mm
The stator is the fixed wound part of the electric motor and is among the key spare parts of a sliding mitre saw with an output of 2000 W and a 255 mm blade. Together with the rotor it creates the magnetic field that spins the spindle, so the saw's output as well as its pull when cutting depend directly on its condition.
An overheated or burnt-out stator shows itself through a loss of speed, a smell and the machine stopping under load, and replacing it with an original part is substantially cheaper than buying a new saw. Fitting belongs in the hands of a service technician, who works with the saw disconnected and after the repair verifies the insulation as well as the correct running of the motor.
