Belt Sander Attachment for Angle Grinder for Grinding and Polishing Pipes
The belt attachment turns an ordinary angle grinder into a tool that guides an abrasive belt around the workpiece. When working with a pipe or profile, you do not grind with just a small area of the disc — the belt wraps around the rounded surface and removes material evenly, without constantly changing the angle and without grooves from the edge of the disc.
The attachment works with endless abrasive belts of 28 x 530 mm and is mounted with an M14 thread onto angle grinders with a 115 or 125 mm disc at speeds of up to 5000 rpm. It includes an auxiliary handle for firmer guidance, a belt guard and reducing rings. It is excellent for removing rust and casting flash, cleaning up welds and preparing a surface for polishing. The angle grinder is not included in the package.
