Wire Stripping Pliers Wire Stripper 200mm, VDE KNIPEX
WireStripper are American-style multifunctional electrician's pliers that speed up stripping thanks to a large range, sharply ground profiles and a positioning bridge for precise wire guidance. The profiles are precisely ground for solid conductors 0.75–6 mm² and fine stranded wires 0.5–4 mm². According to the manufacturer, the cutting edges with a new geometry offer 50 % higher cutting performance with 25 % less effort, especially with flat cables, and they cut copper and aluminium cables up to Ø 15 mm.
The hybrid head is flat like that of needle-nose pliers and at the same time wide like that of combination pliers, so it is stable and easily reaches conductors in a junction box. The gripping surfaces reliably hold and bend flat and round material and the outer edges can be used for deburring pipes. The pliers are chrome-plated and have insulated multi-component handles tested according to VDE, so they are also suitable for live work up to 1000 V.
