Die Stock for Round Dies M5–M6, 20x7mm
A die stock holds the die firmly in line and lets you guide it straight along the workpiece, so the external thread comes out precise and without seizing. Without a die stock the die turns in your hand and the thread goes crooked — which is why this simple tool belongs in the basic equipment of every locksmith's workshop.
The holder is designed for dies measuring 20 x 7 mm, that is, for the common thread sizes M5 and M6. It is made of NC6 alloy steel, which is rigid and does not deform even when cutting into harder material. The clamping screws secure the die against turning and the long arms transfer force evenly, so cutting goes smoothly. The tool meets the DIN 225 standard.
