Fine Thread Hand Tap Set M6x0,75mm, 2 pcs
The M6 x 0,75 mm fine thread is used where a firmer and finer tightening is needed than with an ordinary coarse thread — for example on instrument housings, hydraulic components or machine parts. With this two-piece set of hand taps you can cut or restore such a thread right in the workshop.
The work takes place in two steps: the first tap starts the cut and guides it into the axis, the second one finishes it to the full profile. Both are made of abrasion-resistant high-speed HSS steel, so they keep their edge for a long time and do not leave a torn surface. The design to DIN 2181 guarantees accuracy and you can use the tools in steel as well as in non-ferrous metals.
