Fine Thread Hand Tap Set M7x1,0mm, 2 pcs
The M7 x 1,0 mm thread is one of the sizes that a standard set does not include, yet you come across it when repairing engines, brake components or machine parts. This two-piece set of hand taps lets you cut such a thread from scratch or restore a damaged one, without looking for special tools.
The taps work in order — the first one pre-cuts the thread and guides it into the axis, the second one finishes it to the full profile. They are made of high-speed HSS steel with high abrasion resistance, so they keep their edge for a long time and the cut stays clean. The design complies with DIN 2181 and you can use the tools in steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals.
