Fine Thread Hand Tap Set M8x0,75mm, 2 pcs
The two-piece set of hand taps is designed for cutting and restoring internal M8 x 0,75 mm fine threads. Fine threads are hard to come by in a workshop, yet you need them when repairing hydraulic components, gearboxes or instrument housings, where a standard coarse thread cannot be used.
The taps work in sequence — the first one pre-cuts and guides the thread, the second one finishes it to the full profile, so the cut is precise and without tearing the material. The tools are made of high-speed HSS steel, which is abrasion-resistant and keeps its edge for a long time, and they comply with DIN 2181. You can use them in steel as well as in non-ferrous metals.
