Hand tap set for fine thread M12x1.5mm 2pcs
The set of two hand taps is intended for cutting and repairing internal threads with the fine pitch M12 x 1.5 mm. It contains a pre-cutting and a finishing tap, which work in sequence one after the other. The two-stage procedure gives a more precise thread and a better surface than if you cut it at once, and it also spares the tool itself.
The taps are of HSS high-speed steel with high hardness and resistance to abrasion, the workmanship complies with the DIN 2181 standard. Fine threads are used where the joint has to resist vibrations better and allow more precise adjustment, that is in cars, hydraulics, precision mechanics and engineering. The set manages structural and also alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, cast iron and selected plastics.
