Hand Tap Set M10x0,75mm, 2 pcs
A set of two hand taps for M10 x 0,75 mm fine thread is used to cut a new internal thread as well as to repair a thread that has been stripped. A fine pitch is used precisely where the joint must better resist vibration and where more precise adjustment is needed — in engines, hydraulics and precision mechanics.
The taps are made of high-speed HSS steel and comply with DIN 2181. They work in sequence: the first one pre-cuts and guides the tool in the hole, the second one finishes the thread and smooths its flanks, so the result has a clean surface and the screw tightens without binding. You can use them in structural and alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, cast iron and selected plastics.
