M3x0,5mm HSS DIN 223 Die
The die is used for hand cutting and restoring external M3 x 0,5 mm threads on rods, screws and pins. It is handy whenever you need to re-thread a shortened screw or repair a damaged thread on a small component — instead of hunting for a replacement part, you simply recut it.
The die is made of high-speed HSS steel, which resists abrasion and keeps sharp cutting edges for a long time. Chips are discharged through the flutes, so the cut is clean and the thread has a precise profile according to DIN 223. It is clamped in ordinary hand die holders and you can use it on steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals.
