Round Threading Die M5x0,8mm, HSS
The M5 x 0,8 mm round threading die is used for manual cutting and restoring of external metric threads on rods, bolts and pins. It is suitable not only for making a new thread, but above all for re-cutting a damaged or clogged thread when the nut will no longer go onto the bolt — so you do not have to throw the part away.
It is made of HSS high-speed steel, which is hard and abrasion-resistant, so it withstands even serial work. Chips are carried away through the chip holes, so the thread does not seize and the profile stays clean and precise. The die complies with the DIN 223 standard and fits into common die stocks for round threading dies.
