Set of Hand Taps Fine Thread M10x1,25mm, 2pcs
The set of two hand taps cuts or restores an internal fine thread M10 × 1,25 - exactly the one for which an ordinary coarse-pitch set will not do. The taps work in sequence: the first starts the cut and takes the initial bite, the second gives the thread its final size and profile, so the result is precise and free of galling.
They are made of HSS high-speed steel, which resists abrasion and keeps its edge even in structural and alloy steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals and selected plastics. The design complies with the DIN 2181 standard. A fine thread tolerates vibration better, allows more precise adjustment and suits thin-walled parts.
