The set of three hand taps M12x1.75 mm serves for precise cutting of internal threads in metal and in structural materials. The taps work progressively in three steps – the taper tap cuts the profile, the second tap deepens it and the bottoming tap gives the thread its final shape and accuracy, which reduces the risk of damaging the material.
