ESD Stainless Steel Cutting Tweezers, Straight, Tip Width 10mm KNIPEX
The ESD stainless steel cutting tweezers with a tip width of 10 mm are designed for particularly demanding precision work. They are made of high-quality hardened martensitic steel, which is tough and highly corrosion-resistant. The slim tapered shape allows precise cutting, dissecting and separating of even very small objects in confined spaces.
The tweezers have extremely hard and sharp bevelled cutting edges. They are used mainly for cutting soft copper, gold and silver wires as well as enamelled (magnet) wires. They are used in the electronics industry, for repairs and for handicrafts. The ESD version has a black epoxy resin coating with a surface resistance of 10^4 to 10^9 ohms, which equalises potential differences between the user and the electronic components in a controlled manner.
