ESD Stainless Steel Universal Tweezers, Straight, Pointed Tips, Tip Width 0.5mm KNIPEX
The ESD version of the universal tweezers is designed for safe handling of components sensitive to electrostatic discharge. It equalises differences in electrical potential between the user and the workpiece in a controlled manner, so the components are not damaged by static electricity. The straight pointed tips with a width of 0.5 mm are useful for placing, sorting and repairs in electronics and precision mechanics.
The body made of high-quality stainless steel is extremely tough and highly resistant to corrosion in various environments as well as to many aggressive substances. The black epoxy resin coating is ESD-tested and has a surface resistance of 10³ to 10⁹ ohms. The tweezers are anti-magnetic, which protects components against electromagnetic damage. They are also available as part of the 92 00 01 ESD set.
