ESD Tweezers with Replaceable Tips, Straight, Blunt Tips, Tip Width 0.4mm KNIPEX
The ESD tweezers with replaceable tips are designed for particularly demanding precision work with components sensitive to electrostatic discharge. The straight blunt tips with a width of 0.4 mm are extremely gentle on the surface of electronic and micromechanical components as well as glass and ceramic parts. They equalise potential differences between the user and the component in a controlled manner. They are used in electronics, precision engineering, by watchmakers and jewellers.
The body made of premium stainless steel has hand-polished edges and a glare-free matt finish and is highly resistant to most chemicals, salts and acids. The replaceable tips made of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (30 %) have a surface resistance of 10² to 10⁴ ohms and withstand 130 °C continuously and up to 190 °C for short periods. The tips are elastic, scratch- and abrasion-resistant, vibration-damping and water-repellent. The play-free three-point mounting guarantees the same precision as with conventional tweezers, and when worn, you only need to buy new tips.
