Ball Valve 1/2" DN15 with Butterfly Handle and Union Nut
A ball valve with a butterfly handle is used to shut off the water supply quickly with a single movement of the hand. Unlike a traditional tap, you don't have to turn a wheel several times — just flip the butterfly and the flow is stopped, which you will appreciate especially when the water needs to be shut off immediately, for example during a burst or when replacing a tap.
The valve is made of brass and the full-bore ball mechanism does not restrict the pressure in the piping. The union nut allows a specific section of the installation to be disconnected and removed without having to take apart the whole system — replacing a device is a matter of minutes. The adjustable packing gland allows you to fine-tune the stem seal, and the compact butterfly handle is easy to grip even in tight places under a sink or in a shaft. It is intended for water, heating and utility piping.
