Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet with LED Headlamp
The auto-darkening welding helmet darkens the instant you strike the arc - a response time of 0,15 ms means your eyes do not even catch a flash. You no longer have to flip the helmet down by hand before every weld and have both hands free to guide the torch, which shows in the quality of the bead from the very first centimetre.
The 92 x 42 mm viewing area gives a good view of the weld pool, you set the shade in the DIN 9–13 range according to the method and current, while the UV and IR protection at DIN 16 level is permanent regardless of the setting. Two independent sensors reliably detect the arc even when welding at an awkward angle, and the grinding mode keeps the lens light, so you do not have to take the helmet off between operations. A practical extra is the LED headlamp, which lights up the weld area in darker spaces. Power comes from a combination of a solar cell and a battery.
