Welding hood self-darkening 16577

Self-Darkening Welding Hood

The self-darkening welding hood serves to protect the user's eyes and face during welding, shielding the eyes from harmful infrared and UV radiation, as well as from sparks and heat. The self-darkening mechanism, located in the filter cartridge, automatically detects the start of welding and signals the filter to darken automatically. After welding, the filter returns to a lightened state. The helmet's power supply is ensured by batteries, which are charged during operation by a photovoltaic cell. The hood features a shade setting on the outside, at an easily accessible location.
