MIG welding wire 1.2mm 15kg
The copper-coated welding wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm is designed for welding using the MIG/MAG method in a shielding atmosphere. The manganese and silicon content ensures a stable arc and a smooth, low-spatter weld, while the copper coating improves current transfer and protects the wire against rust.
It is used for welding non-alloy, boiler-grade and structural steels, sheet metal, shipbuilding steels and carbon-manganese alloys. In sheet metal workshops it is used to weld silencers and body parts, and it also handles thin sheets with a yield strength below 420 MPa well. The 15 kg spool is enough for long production runs without reloading.
